Chiller specialist targets midlands and north growth.
M4 Corridor based specialist chiller and air conditioning design and installation business Cooltherm has opened a new site in Nuneaton, to support expansion in the Midlands and North of England.
The company, which was acquired by the Carver Group last summer, specialises in the design, supply, installation and servicing of air conditioning systems and chillers, operating across the UK and internationally.
Dave Blackmore for Cootherm, said: “Continuous innovation and development, coupled with the highest quality customer service, has contributed to the rapid growth and success of the business since its launch in 1992.
“However, with the majority of our service and design hubs spread across the south of England & Wales, it was clear we would need a geographically suitable base from which to support our ever growing customer base in the Midlands and North. The site in Warwickshire is ideal to enable us to expand our services, allowing us to install and service bespoke chiller and air conditioning systems for businesses across the UK and overseas.”
The Cooltherm offices – at St Mary’s Road, Nuneaton – will include sales and workshop facilities and initially create three new jobs, with further recruitment planned as the business expands.
Cooltherm are renowned for working in difficult and challenging environments, an expertise which sets them apart from the competition.
The company works with Italian manufacturer Geoclima Srl to provide water chiller packages for both new and existing installations. The chillers are built to order to meet the precise requirements of each application. They are also diamond quality partner for Mitsubishi Electric and a D1+ premium partner for Daikin systems.
The West Midlands-based Carver Group centrally manages competence centres for research and development, manufacturing and project management in order to create innovative heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions for a wide range of market sectors including retail, commercial, industry and the public sector.
As well as having its headquarters in Walsall in the UK, the group has representation in 50 countries and offices in Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Canada.
