Cooltherm are proud to achieve ISO45001

Cooltherm UK Limited has achieved ISO45001, the international occupational health and safety management standard.  ISO45001 improves integration of standards and systems of work and increases organisational resilience through proactive risk prevention, innovation and ongoing continuous improvement.  The system integrates with both the ISO9001 (Quality Management) and ISO14001 (Environment) systems of work, with the simplification of policy and systems linking together and becoming mutually dependent on each other.

Alex Strong, technical director for Cooltherm said “OHSAS18001 was being phased out of use generally, so to maintain an international and well considered Health and Safety standard it was the natural decision to upgrade to ISO45001.  Health & safety, quality and the environment are cornerstone responsibilities and areas which we will continue to evolve to protect our team, customers and meet the future needs of all our operations.  The changes make it easier to communicate the system of work to the whole team, and ensure core systems of work can be better understood and followed.  I would like to thank everyone involved in the successful renewal of the ISO9001 and ISO14001 accreditations and also our external health and safety partner who provided a lot of material, advice and also carried out internal audits and tests on the system before our external audit to ensure the later was smooth and successful”.
